General Information
In the centre of lush region of Umbria, set amidst fragrant genista, age-old oaks and sweet smelling bushes, the farm holiday facilities of ‘IL MANDOLETO’ propose a vacation marked by cordiality, hospitality and relaxation, all in a totally peaceful atmosphere. Its wonderful geographic location means you can go on interesting excursions, since it’s just a few kilometres to the most characteristic Franciscan places, lovely Lake Trasimeno, and the most beautiful and fascinating art cities of Umbria and Tuscany.
Recently restored with simple elegance, ‘IL MANDOLETO’ looks like a typical Umbrian farmhouse that fits right in with the surrounding countryside. Inside, it is divided into a number of large, comfortable and tastefully-decorated flats of different sizes from 4 to 15 sleeps. All of them feature a fully-equipped kitchen/kitchenette, living room, satellite TV, independent heating and telephone with direct dialing and direct receiving.
With the use of the old wood-burning stove to get that old fashioned taste of freshly-baked bread and country sweets, a handy barbecue, a charming swimming-pool, ping-pong tables at disposal of the guests. Possibility to rent a bike as well as horseback-riding and golf facilities just 5 kilometres away. Finally the chance to taste old-style Umbrian recipes made with the farm’s fresh produce at the ‘Locanda Solomeo’ restaurant www.solomeo.it located just 1 kilometre from the farm house and run by the same owners, offering the maximum comfort for an unforgettable stay in any season during your vacation in the Umbrian countryside.
Apartments’ rental price includes the use of water, electricity, gas and the final cleaning. It also includes the supply of bed-sheets, bathroom and kitchen towels. An extra supply on Wednesday is provided during weekly rents. The price of the rooms includes the daily cleaning of the room by our staff.
During the months of June, July and August the rents of the apartments/rooms are only weekly from Saturday to Saturday. Minimum 3/4 nights stay during festivities and long weekends. 2 nights in all other periods. The stays during New Year’s Ever (min. 3/4 nights) are combined with San Silvester’s Dinner and New Year’s Day Brunch, payable directly on site by the guests (130€ per person).
The apartments are available after 3pm of the arrival day.
