General Information
La Tinaia, our agritourism farm, is located in a unique scenic position in the midst of the Chianti country, but only 10 Km. from the centre of Florence. The guest house, restored and furnished in the traditional Tuscan country style, is nestled among vineyards, olive groves, oak and pine woods. It offers two apartments that can accommodate 2 or 4 guests.
The farmhouse is the ideal starting point for nature excursions and touring of the magnificent surroundings, as well as for visits to Tuscany’s most important artistic landmarks.
Florence can be easily reached by bus (15-20’ ride) leaving every 10’ from Scandicci’s bus terminal, at 5 km. from the farm. We are at 60 km. from Siena, 35 km. from S. Gimignano, 65 km. from Pisa, 70 km. from Volterra and close to the most characteristic villages of the Chianti area.
A sojourn at La Tinaia offers a wonderful opportunity to relax in a family setting, which tries to communicate to the guest our love for these places and share the little secrets of environment friendly farming.
We produce and sell top quality cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil and DOCG Chianti wine
The two apartments, with high, beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, are on the first floor of the house. They are furnished in the late 19th century style and equipped with TV, heating and conditioning air (both individual).
