General Information
The farm-holidays resort offers its guests an ancient beautifully situated farmhouse (336 mts above sea level), renovated and divided into four completely independent apartments.The farmhouse, located among a lush greenery, is enclosed and equipped with swimming pool, garden furniture and barbecue.The estate surrounding the charming farmhouse, extends for dozens of hectares in the heart of Chio Valley, one of the smallest and most fascinating Appenine Valleys, near Castiglion Fiorentino.
The valley, covered with olive trees and centuries-old oaks, is the ideal place either for visitors who wish to spend a relaxing holiday, or for tourists who want to visit the numerous fairs and village feasts in search of the typical dishes and traditional customs of Tuscany.
The estate produces and sells organic IGP extra-virgin olive oil of excellent quality.
The farm holiday complex is made up of 4 large independent apartments, with double and twin bedrooms, a living area, a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms; the furniture is typically Tuscan. The ground floor apartments have access for disabled people.
Adjacent to the house one can find a large living room with a fireplace for use by guests.On request it is possible to hire the whole complex as a single villa.
The valley is crossed by several circular paths, pointed out by notice boards and directions. There are three kinds of itineraries: the path of the mills, the path of the villages with their churches and the path of castles The path of the mills is on a level ground and goes along the river Vingone; the path of the villages winds among settlements on the hillsides at an altitude of 300 m., while the path of the castles goes along the hilltop that enclose the valley.
