General Information
Our farm is organized with 4 apartments and a main house completely independent. Each apartment has two bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. A full pension service can be offered upon your request. The main house was originally a church surrounded by the walls of the castle and by the shadows of secular oaks.
Climbed up on a hill standing guard on val cerfone, the Castle of Ranco is located in a historical area that tells you about medieval history. Considered as one off the most interesting from the architectural point of view, is surrounded by the intact woods of Tuscan Pre-Apennines. The origin of this fortification dates back to VI-VII century when Byzantines and Longobards were striving for the dominion of these territories. This castle belonged to Tarlati.

There is a tennis court, archery, swimming pool and a volley fields; horse and mountains bikes can be organized. One of the main activities of our farm is to grow truffles (Tartufo nero di norcia Melasporun Vittadin) and fruits biologically cultivated. In fall time we pick chestnuts and go mushrooming.
THE HOUSES
- Torre: It is composed by two double-rooms every one with bathroom, kitchen with fire-place and a wide garden. It is situated among the walls of a castle and it was the old church consecrated to S. Martino.
- Casina: It is composed by three double-rooms and two bathrooms with sitting-room and a big kitchen both with fire-place. Large square and garden. It is situated outside the walls.
- Casanova: It is able to put up more than 16 persons, large sitting-room with fire-place and big kitchen, a large garden .Tennis court, volleyball court, ping-pong table and toys for children are available too. The same structure can be divided into 4 flats.
