 General Information

Vitiano is strategically placed in the heart of Italy between Arezzo and Cortona. Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Perugia, Assisi and Lake Trasimeno are all within reach. Rome and the resorts of the Adriatic and Tyrrenian seas are two hours drive.

The area around is known for its good quality olive oil, fine wines and excellent restaurants serving typical Tuscan food. You can also explore neighbouring tourist and cultural sites, ride, play tennis, or trek through Lignano park close by.

The apartments are carefully restored respecting old materials such as wooden beams and brick floors, offset by the tasteful choice of traditional, comfortable furniture. Each apartment has a pergola covered terrace and garden furniture for eating outside on long summer evenings.
Although close to a group of houses Vitiano is set in its own leafy gardens and has a small swimming pool available from June to September.

LA VILLA

This 18th century building, surrounded by a garden and topped by a large dovecot spreads over three floors connected by a central stone stairway.
There is a central room with a large stonework fireplace, 2 sitting room, the so-called “bishop’s library” and three bathrooms with bath-tub.
The villa may be rented out as a whole for a total of fifteen people or separately the ground and first floor for eight people.

THE APARTMENTS

CASA DI BRUNO - It consists of a small kitchen with fireplace, one sitting room, two double-bedrooms, one master bedroom, all of which with exposed wooden beamwork and one bathroom with shower.

CASA DEL CERINI - A typical apartment located within an old building whose back-side is linked to the villa. A bathroom with shower and the master bedroom overlooking the garden are accessed through a narrow corridor. The apartment features cotto-tiled floors and exposed beamwork and is carefully furnished with traditional Tuscan pieces; the apartment is provided with independent heating.

CASA DI NELLO - The apartment, located on the ground floor in the western wing of the villa, consists of a kitchen area with fireplace, a bathroom with shower, a large living room/porch with fireplace and double sleeper sofa.
The apartment tastefully furnished is provided with independent heating and may be linked with the villa.
