General Information
Aguglia is close to the main historical, artistic, and natural wonders in eastern Sicily. The country house is located at 640 meters above sea level in the middle of a 42-acres farm, full of nut, cherry and olive trees, seven kilometres away from Palazzolo Acreide, a town designated as a World Heritage site by U.N.E.S.C.O. The Aguglia Farm is 30 minutes from Syracuse, Ragusa, Ibla, Modica, Pantalica Natural Reserve and only 15 minutes from Cavagrande del Cassibile and Noto. It’s half an hour from Fontane Bianche, Noto beaches and Ognina Marina, a small natural inlet used by local fishermen to dock their boats. The diving centre is also located in the marina.
Other amenities: breakfast room and bar, parking, garden, bicycles, traditional local products available to sample and purchase, laundry service, guided excursions with licensed guides upon request.
Boats with skipper are available for rent in Ognina Marina (30 min. by car).
