General Information
The Garden of the Olives is located at the foot of the cape of the Gargano two kilometres from the wonderful coast of Margherita di Savoia, a bustling tourist and thermal centre. The area is world renowned for the salt flats where you can observe the numerous species of birds such as the heron and the pink flamingos. Within two kilometres there is the splendid archaeological area of Trinitapoli which holds the secrets of the Ipogei’s civilization.
Becaues we are centrally located we are the ideal places to begin your daily excursions exploring the beauties of this region. You have a choice of areas with architectural characteristics such as Castel del Monte and Trani with their ancient castles. Enjoy the magical atmospheres of Barletta and Canne della Battaglia, which are the location of epic medieval battles. Visit the religious site of San Giovanni Rotondo and explore the salt flats of Margherita di Savoia.
Our grounds consist of three areas:
• Our restaurant
• Our accommodations area in the centre of the groves.
• The sporting area
The restaurant is located in the center of the olive groves and we have a very spacious dining room overlooking one of the nicest castle of Italy. From the restraint we have beautiful and uninterrupted view of local landscape and surrounding groves. We also have small dining rooms which are decorated in the Italian traditions where you can enjoy typical dishes from our region.
The accommodations are located in the peaceful and quaint area of the olive groves. The rooms are situated in two villas, and each villa contains twelve accommodations. All the rooms are furnished traditionally according to an abstentious and bucolic style.
Our accommodations include air conditioning, heating, refrigerator and patio.
Apartments
One-roomed: 1 to 4 persons- The room is approximately 25 square metres with a double bed and a convertible sofa, air conditioning, heating, bathroom with shower and external porch.
Two-roomed: from 4 to 6 persons- It has a bedroom with bathroom, shower, air conditioning, heating, patio, and a living room with the possibility of 2 or 4 beds and a second bathroom, shower, air conditioning, heating and external porch.
The apartments have a cooking corner with refrigerator, washbasin, drainer, two electric hotplates, hood and stoves. The cleaning services and the sheets are provided every week. All the apartments have supplies for every day cleaning.
The rental periods are from Saturday at 3.00 p.m. to Saturday at 10.00 a.m.
The 30% booking deposit will be deduct by from the bill which is payable at registration.
The deposit of 100 €, for security damages, will be given back at check out.
Sporting Area
In the Sporting Area there is the possibility to play sports in a very relaxing and healthy environment with a large and a small wading pool, soccer fields suitable for match with ten or sixteen players, illuminated with lights at night for soccer matches and tournaments.
Also in the pool area we have organized swimming, aqua gym and scuba diving classes.
Here you can enjoy the atmosphere of peace that inspire the love for Mother Nature and for the pleasure of little things.
