General Information
Der Betrieb liegt auf einer kleinen Hochebene, wo früher das Schloss Ripalta - eine alte Festung - stand, die für die Reisenden als Kontroll- und Bezugspunkt diente, die von der Küste ins Landesinnere, Richtung Berge zogen und umgekehrt. In dieser Aufgabe wurde es von den Schlössern von Pietranico, Corvara und der kleinen Festung Forca di Penne unterstützt, letztere befand sich genau auf dem Paß von Forca, dem einzigen sicheren Übergang für Händler und Armeen, denn er bot den Räubern wenige Möglichkeiten, sie in einen Hinterhalt zu locken.
Nachdem das Schloss seine Funktion verlor, wurde es zusammen mit einem großen Lehngut dem Abt von San Clemente geschenkt, der ihm den Name „Castrum Ripaltae“ gab. Noch heute ist das Symbol des alten Lehens auf dem Portal der Abtei von San Clemente in Casauria zu bewundern.
Heutzutage hat sich der Name des Gebiets auf „Ripaldi“ geändert, damit ist das Gebiet gemeint, das im Norden der Gemeinde Pietranico liegt: es besteht aus sanft abfallenden Feldern, nur teilweise bebaut, die bis nach Brittoli und Civitaquana reichen.
Unser kleiner Landwirtschaftsbetrieb wurde auf den Namen Ripalta getauft; er erstreckt sich auf etwa 20 Hektar, auf denen Olivenhaine und Weinberge stehen und wo Hartweizen, Futtermittel und Gemüse vom Besitzer mit der Hilfe seiner Familie und unter Verwendung von Landwirtschaftsmaschinen angebaut wird.
Ripalta ist ein kleiner landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb mit einem Grundbesitz von etwa 20 Hektar, der sich auf die Gemeinden Pietranico und Corvara erstreckt.
Er wurde von früheren Generationen mit ihren Bräuchen, ihrer Kulturordnung und ihren Gebäuden weitergegeben und erfüllt die modernen Anforderungen der Landwirtschaft und des Umweltschutzes. Durch seine neue biologischen Orientierung wird auf eine intensive Landwirtschaft verzichtet.
Die Produktionsorientierung ist gemischt: Olivenhaine, Weinberge, Hartweizen, Getreide, Futtermittel, Gemüse und Tiere sind unsere tägliche Arbeit.
